The Royal Exchange Theatre (RET) is a team of around 70 people who are employed in permanent and fixed term positions.

The RET also has a team of around 60 casual Visitor Experience Assistants and Hospitality Assistants. Over the course of a year the RET engages Actors, Stage Management, Creative Teams and Technicians on freelance agreements and short-term contracts.
