The Elders Dream Project - a rich creative experience

The Royal Exchange Theatre Elders launched the first Dream Project in 2021 as part of the organisations commitment to reflecting the wider community of Greater Manchester.

The 2021/2022 project invited older African or African Caribbean Diaspora people to share their stories. Together they created the show DOMINOES & DALIA’S (+OWARE!) with theatre director Cheryl Martin and musician Clive Hunte.

Now in its second year, Dream Project 2023 brought together a company of older East Asian and British East Asian people working with actor and theatre-maker Nadia Anim. They created FOUR SEASONS which played for two performances in our Studio.
