The M8 Ambassadors are a diverse group of people who are united in their passion for Cheetham Hill and Crumpsall.
Supported by the Royal Exchange Theatre, Our M8s is a love letter to the postcode and the people who bring it to life. Over the past few months, the M8 Ambassadors have been collecting stories of people and places from across Cheetham Hill and Crumpsall. The project will showcase and celebrate the people who live, work and play in M8 and share, with the rest of Greater Manchester, what makes this community so special.
Thank you to every one involved in creating this incredible bank of stories, from the story collectors to the story tellers – it has been amazing, and also a huge thanks to: The Welcome Centre, Khizra Mosque, The Ukranian Cultural Centre, Rainbow Surprise and the Rainbow Surprise Mum and Toddlers Group, Cleaner Crumpsall, The Manchester Jewish Museum, The Yard Sale, North Manchester General Hospital, Nicky Alliance Day Centre, The Irish World Heritage Centre, Abraham Moss School, and Camerados.
These stories will be creatively shared and retold this summer – if you’re interested in helping to tell these stories find more information here Our M8s Performance Group
