In an intimate 100-seat theatre, local audiences discover emerging and experienced artists, diverse stories and world premiere performances. Playwrights, directors, designers and performers collaborate here. Producing radical new theatre right in the heart of Manchester.

In spring 2027, the next chapter for the Studio begins. Bigger, bolder and braver than before. We exist to reimagine and reinvigorate the space, the community, the future of theatre. And we kick off with two World Premiere performances: Talking to Boys by Abigail Greenland and R Lady’s by Daisy Miles.
